FROM THE GREGORY FILES: “I AM JUST A PATSY” SGT. DERWIN LONGMIRE AND THE CHAUNCEY BAILEY ASSASSINATION AND MURDER CASE

17 07 2011

Sgt. Derwin “Dirty” Longmire, The Law Breaker’s Greatness Nemesis

In 2007, Sgt. Derwin Longmire was at the top of the game. He was a hard hitting rock solid independent rough and ready detective. He was legend on the street. Hardnosed Sgt. Longmire always got the lawbreaker, even if innocent, with utter deception and sadistic torture interrogation methodology, an ends justifies the means philosophy and approach to the law. He could have easily starred in his own television series or B movie like Clint Eastman’s hardnosed and sadistic character, Dirty Harry.

In April 2003, Sgt. Longmire first came to national mass media attention as an OPD intelligence official and supervisor in some type of local U.S. Homeland Security/CIA national security state and network.

On April 7, 2003, the Port of Oakland was the site of a clash that the New York Times called “the most violent between protesters and authorities anywhere in the country since the start of the war in Iraq.”[1]

Local Iraq anti-war peaceful protestors at the Port of Oakland had been needlessly setup for a violent counterintelligence attack by police from twisted and deceptive reports from the California Anti-Terrorism Information Center(CATIC) and Oakland intelligence officials.[2]

The CATIC is a national security anti-terrorism beacon. It is staffed with personnel from the FBI, Defense Intelligence Agency and other federal, state and local agencies. The reports from CATIC fallaciously and deceptively warned law enforcement officials that the Port of Oakland protestors were dangerous violence prone terrorists.[3]

When 500 anti-war protesters blocked a gate at the Port of Oakland, OPD security forces attacked unarmed protesters with shotguns firing wooden dowels, rifles shooting “beanbags” full of birdshot, and “sting balls”–a rubber grenade filled with approximately 80 .45 caliber rubber balls surrounding an explosive charge.[4] Hundreds of the wooden bullets and bean bags and dozens of sting ball grenades were fired at protesters over a period of more than two hours during an antiwar protest at the Port of Oakland.[5]

The police onslaught injured dozens arresting 31 people including six innocent longshoremen who were just on the side waiting to go to work.

Some of the injuries were severe. A longshoreman required surgery after being hit in the hand. Several protesters were hit in the head and had blood streaming down their faces.

Other protesters lifted their shirts to reveal a number of large discolored welts caused by the wooden bullets.[6]

Behind this violent hardnosed and bloody assault on peaceful ant-war protesters-lawbreakers was some of the handiwork of hardnosed, deceptive and sadistic, Dirty Longmire, the “Man’s Man” and “Lone White Knight Crusader.”

We’re talking about a crime. You must think on a different level, like the CIA does. We’re through the looking glass. White is black. And black is white. –Jim Garrison, JFK movie

Oakland Police Department (OPD) Detective Sgt. Derwin Longmire’s long awaited KTVU, Channel 2 exclusive television appearance aired Sunday, July 10, 2011.[7]

The interview didn’t amount to a hill of beans and KTVU’s hype. It appeared to have been heavily edited from what he was really supposed to talk about. I wondered why the television appearance and interview was ever done in the first place. But, that is conventional thinking.

Through another lenses, Sgt. Longmire’s television appearance may still prove to be very significant after all. Sgt. Longmire like the black face of Raymond Brown of the COINTELPRO Panther Squad of Oakland Police Department is just a running dog of something much bigger, the tip of an iceberg.

In the interview, I expected a cocky, defensive, articulate and confident front. However, Sgt. Derwin Longmire appeared to be afraid and remarkably badly shaken. He appeared to be a desperate man.

Through the LOOKING GLASS, that telecast may have been his life insurance policy in the clandestine world of counterintelligence, espionage and assassinations.

But who pulls whose chain? Who knows? –David Ferrie, JFK movie

In 2002, KTVU exposed in a special report that Sgt. Longmire had plans to deceptively infiltrate and neutralize- COINTELPRO YBMB. As head of an OPD Intelligence Division, he had decided that YBMB was a lawbreaking enterprise.

The plan went to OPD “Top Brass” and, in fact, the FBI (COINTELPRO).[8] The KTVU report didn’t say if the plan had been approved or disapproved. However, it appears that Longmire got the approval to secretly infiltrate.

Sgt. Longmire was so far secretly deeply embedded in YBMB that OPD rank and file didn’t know about his mission. A detective familiar with Longmire described him as a “true believer” in the former bakery’s philosophy of African-American self-reliance.[9]

The national security state/OPD complicity plan to discredit, disrupt and destroy YBMB certainty began in 2002. On September 19, 2002, Yusuf Bey, Sr., founder of YBMB, turned himself in when a warrant was issued for his arrest, charged with 27 counts in the alleged rapes of four girls under the age of 14.[10] The body count began in September 2003 with the sudden death of Bey, Sr.[11]  Since 2002, the YBMB body count including the high profile assassination of Chauncey Bailey stands at 6 (six) dead.

I don’t believe Longmire clearly understood how deep the Rabbit Hole (CIA, FBI, NSC and Homeland Security) had gone to destroy YBMB and kill Chauncey Bailey?  At Longmire’s level in the operation, he didn’t know who pulled whose chains.

Warped Inside an Enigma

Within minutes after Chauncey’s assassination, Sgt. Longmire was suddenly thrust into the case as the lead murder investigator in lieu of his deep clandestine infiltration and penetration inside YBMB.

Longmire must have soon discovered that he had been setup in a world of illusions and smoked mirrors. Longmire found himself warped inside an enigma for not only collaborating with serial Muslim lawbreakers, but for failing to prevent Chauncey’s assassination; and botching the murder investigation.

Before the KTVU television appearance, Sgt. Longmire sued the city of Oakland for discrimination and retaliation in Alameda County Superior Court for a second time, even as his discrimination lawsuit against the city continues in the U.S. Federal District Court.[12]

Sgt. Longmire’s KTVU television appearance and court filings really appear to be an act of a desperate man trying to stay in the public light. I don’t think Longmire knew just how deep the Rabbit Hole had went?

“Oh, what a deadly web we weave when we practice to deceive.” –David Ferrie, JFK movie

“There were also allegations that Longmire had failed to note GPS tracking devices and phone logs…” KTVU Interview with Sgt. Longmire [13]

On August 2, 2007, how many GPS tracking devices were attached to cars and the one van associated with YBMB? Longmire said those were initiated before the Chauncey Bailey murder and weren’t his cases.[14]

Longmire didn’t know it, but he had been painting himself inside a deadly web all along. On May 17, 2007, a convicted East Oakland drug dealer and most likely police informer, Albert Antone, setup the bumbling YBMB post-adolescence gang to kidnap a woman in East Oakland for a drug related money ransom. Two of Bey IV half brothers, Yusuf Bey V and Joshua Bey, fell for the trap to kidnap 2 women related to a drug syndicate in a decommissioned police car bought by YBMB.[15]

An OPD police unit just happened on the scene to investigate the decommissioned police car on the street and found a woman kidnap victim inside. The bumbling brothers were allowed to escape. This allowed OPD justification to setup a special parallel YBMB investigation unit behind Longmire’s back.[16] This unit didn’t attempt to make any arrests on the May 17 kidnap-torture charges until August 3, 2007, three months later, and a day after Chauncey was gunned down.[17]

Under the kidnap ruse, this parallel investigative unit secretly placed GPS tracking devices on cars associated with YBMB and also wiretaps on the phones.

Less than four hours after the August 3, 2007 multi-police taskforce raid, documents show, Longmire learned that a tracking device placed on Bey IV’s car by detectives working the kidnapping case showed it was parked outside Bailey’s apartment just seven hours before the assassination.[18]

In Longmire’s KTVU interview, he clearly implied that there were more than one GPS tracking device planted. It stands to reason of a planned 200 man multi-police task force raid that a GPS tracking device had also been on the alleged assassins’ BIG WHITE VAN.

Recently, the 9th Circuit held that it is not illegal against the Fourth Amendment for law enforcement officials to put a warrant less GPS device on suspects’ cars.[19] Even with discovery and a subpoena, it may be impossible to verify the truthfulness of a law enforcement account of the warrant less GPS devices and their logs that can prove or disprove definitively that that particular BIG WHITE VAN associated with Chauncey Bailey’s assassination had ever been at the scene of the crime. Sgt. Longmire holds the key to that answer that would break the Bey-Mackey Murder conviction case wide open.

If a GPS devise had been planted on the BIG WHITE VAN, which would have been consistent with wide police intelligence surveillance and investigation plans, the GPS logs would prove that it wasn’t at the scene of the crime when Chauncey was gunned down. It would be unconvertible exculpatory evidence.

The Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment requires the State to disclose to criminal defendants favorable evidence that is material either to guilt or to punishment. United States v. Agurs, 427 U.S. 97 (1976); Brady v. Page 467 U.S. 479, 481[20] and Sgt. Longmire may also secretly hold the key to that answer would also would break the Bey-Mackey Murder conviction and the Chauncey Bailey Murder case wide open.

On Aug. 24, 2007, 22 days after Chauncey assassination, Longmire requested a warrant for Bey IV’s cell phone records, but in his KTVU interview, he suggested that he didn’t know that the special parallel YBMB investigation unit already had telephone wiretap logs from their secret wiretaps. Longmire said that YBMB wiretap telephone logs weren’t his case.[21]

Nevertheless, the wiretap logs were used against him to prove that had he had become far too close to Bey VI and YBMB, and therefore compromised OPD’s capacity to bust the serial Muslim lawbreakers before Chauncey’s death; and the resulting murder investigation.

Two Matching Shotgun Shells, Puzzle Leads to Bey VI and his Mentor, Sgt. Longmire

Eleven hours after Chauncey’s assassination, Sgt. Longmire was also told that a ballistic test found that two spent 12-gauge shells recovered next to Bailey’s body were fired from a shotgun used in a Dec. 6, 2006, of a car belonging to a man who had a dispute with his YBMB co-religionist and minion, Yusuf Bey IV.[22] All eyes were on Sgt. Derwin Longmire in a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma.

Within minutes of Chauncey’s assassination, before Longmire arrived, the crime scene had been compromised, cleared and destroyed.

Post Editor Paul Cobb outside the shooting scene with a man that appears to be Sgt. Longmire in the crime scene which appears to be sometime after the crime scene was cleared. The red car is gone. Cobb met Longmire at the scene and confronted him with a witness. Cobb said that Longmire dismissed the witness and took off. It is interesting that Cobb didn’t publish the witness’ statement or use any of his journalistic resources, independently, to investigate Chauncey’s assassination.

“I’m just a patsy.”—Lee Harvey Oswald

Longmire said he was frustrated and hurt by his department. “The abandonment and betrayal by my police department and those who have the responsibility for looking out and caring for the men and women who work under their supervision and direction,” he said.[23]

OPD Deputy Police Chief, Howard Jordan, launched internal investigations against Longmire because he and most of the rank and file believed that Sgt. Longmire had become far too close to the Black Muslim Bakery and didn’t tell his boss or colleagues what he was doing.[24]

The State Justice Department refused to release its report on the investigation of Longmire’s conduct, arguing that it is exempt from disclosure under the Public Record Act. However, investigators for both the California Department of Justice and the police Internal Affairs Division found that Longmire compromised the Bailey murder investigation because of that secret infiltration of YBMB. [25]

Longmire’s defense counsel, Michael Rains, said that Longmire is a department “scapegoat”.[26] Scapegoating is the practice of singling out any party for unmerited negative treatment or blame. A “fall guy” is a form of scapegoat.[27]

A fall guy includes a “Betrayed Confederate” (guilty scapegoat); here one criminal (willingly or unwillingly) is arrested and sacrificed, while the rest of the criminals go free.[28]

Lee Harvey Oswald used the word “patsy” as a way to imply he was being victimized or used as the “fall guy.” It is now generally accepted that in conspiracy in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Oswald was a CIA/FBI “Betrayed Confederate” unwillingly sacrificed while the CIA/FBI conspirators slipped away.[29]

Has Sgt. Longmire become a frightened “fall guy”, a betrayed confederate and “patsy” in the Chauncey Bailey Assassination desperately trying to stay in the public light to stay alive?

What about Yusuf Bey VI and Antoine Mackey convicted of Chauncey Bailey’s Assassination? Sgt. Longmire’s July 12, 2011 KTVU interview certainly more than suggests that he holds the keys to possible exculpatory evidence in the case. He was the lead investigator in the murder investigation; yet, he was only on the stand for minutes, which should have been for days. He wasn’t questioned about some very key exculpatory evidence in the case:

  1. GPS devises secreted implanted on YBMB cars, how many and what cars? People responsible for the GPS and the logs.
  2. Wiretap secret implanted on YBMB phones, how many and what phones? People responsible for the wiretaps and the logs.
  3. Crime Ballistics Reports. Who told Longmire eleven hours after Chauncey’s assassination that a ballistic test found that two spent 12-gauge shells recovered next to Bailey’s body were fired from a shotgun connected to Bey VI and Broussard? That is crucial unconvertible evidence of a SECOND GUNMAN.

Did prosecutors know about GPS devices and wiretaps and logs and turn them over to the defense. Did they know about the ballistic reports that matched only two of three shells connected to the alleged murder weapon, the Mossberg shotgun?

DON’T CRY FOR LONGMIRE. CRY OUT FOR JUSTICE AND THE ARREST OF CHAUNCEY BAILEY’S REAL ASSASSINS!
